Why do you need an Occupational Therapist?
Occupational Therapists (OT) support people to do the everyday things that matter most, at home, at school, and in the community.
You might require Occupational Therapy if your child is experiencing challenges with daily routines (such as dressing, eating, toileting, or sleep), emotional regulation and sensory processing, motor skills, attention, play, or social participation.
We look beyond the behaviour to understand the whole child, working closely with families to build skills, confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

Who are we?
Therapy and Beyond is an OT lead, family centred private practice that provides Occupational Therapy intervention for children and young individuals in Townsville and surrounding regions.
We offer therapy in our clinic, creating a safe and engaging space where children can explore, learn, and build skills through play. Our sessions are designed to maximise participation and development in everyday activities through a therapeutic and evidence based lens. We also provide telehealth services for families who are unable to attend in person, ensuring support is accessible no matter where you are.
